Our most recent innovations in containerised solutions build on our commercial history of licencing the technology to design and build a centralised carbonation plant using Accelerated Carbonation Technology. In this plant, which was commissioned in 2012, feedstock residues (APCr) are transported in from surrounding waste producers and pure CO₂ is used to produce construction materials, preventing environmental harm and minimising quarrying.
At the first plant, and two built subsequently, can together treat up to 120,000 tonnes of APCr (a hazardous waste from the Energy from Waste industry) per year, proving the industrial commercial application of our core technology, ACT.
Our next engineering innovation was to eliminate the
expense and environmental issues associated with buying and transporting CO₂ and waste.
